I took a few days off from the blog, because I was doing Kumon, and french for Mme Appio.

I will start in Hong Kong, where I went to visit The Big Buddha. We had to go on a cable car tram that was all glass, even the floor. My mom was scared. It was hard to take pictures up there because it was  windy and the car was moving around.

I took a lot of pictures when we got there. I think I had to walk up 268 stairs to see the Buddha. He was very cool.

My Dad was being crazy and took lots of pictures of my mom and I. We then got to go inside Buddha where there was lots of stairs and gifts. Inside Buddha was very religious.

Across from Buddha, we went to the Po Lin Monastery. It smelt like smoke, but there was no fire. It was people lighting sticks, which made smoke. Like a sparkler, without the sparks.

We had some Chinese food for lunch, and then took the tram back to the subway station.

The next day we went to visit The Peak, the weather was terrible and it was very rainy. We couldn’t see anything, so we decided to go to a 3D museum, it was a lot of fun, but weird. It was short, but I was happy we did it.

There wasn’t much else to do there, so we went around the shops before heading back to the hotel.

We then had to wake up early the next morning to get packed and head to the airport. We arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand in the afternoon, the plane took three and a half hours from Hong Kong.

My Dad played a lot of Candy Crush on the plane.

This place is a lot hotter than Hong Kong, I’m happy I get to wear my shorts again. Our hotel is very nice, but the pool is not because it is very cold. It is as cold as Georgian Bay.

We went to the night market which was very cool. I sat in a fish tank and the fish ate off of my feet. It tickled, but they didn’t bite off my feet. I also got to eat cotton candy that looked like Baymax, that was very cool. My Dad wouldn’t let me eat it all, because it has too much sugar.

We had dinner and then came back to the hotel. We got to ride in a Tuk Tuk for the first time.

I fell asleep as soon as we got back to the bedroom, because I’ve had a busy week.
